This just in! BlueHost has launched their newest product…Dedicated Servers! They released the beta program back in March, but now it’s available to the general public with some great pricing for some great features! They currently offer 3 awesome configurations for those that have needs beyond shared hosting or VPS.
All servers feature multi-core processors by Intel – the base at 2.3 GHz and top level quad core at 3.3 GHz. So you have solid processing power. The HDD configs on base level are 2x500GB and the top level at 2×1000 GB. The RAM ranges from 4GB-16GB which is ample for nearly any use especially when being used as a database server. All servers utilize the RAID 1 config so the drives are mirrored for data protection.
BlueHost utilizes the CentOS 64-bit version along with KVM virtualization. You get a few IPs as well as a good bit of bandwidth ranging from 5TB/mo to 15TB/mo. So you can really push some traffic through these high end servers for a really good rate.
There are a few upgrades that are available through BlueHost with these dedicated servers. First you can upgrade the storage to any server if you have a high capacity need. You can also get more IPs and Bandwidth if needed. All servers come with root access and the cPanel control panel for server management which is quite easy to use.
